Hi!!! *waves gleefully* I am Julie and I recently discovered that Frosted Mini Wheats are of the devil! They have been disguising themselves as a tasty snack for me my whole life, while they were unbeknownst to me plotting their deceptions against my self-imposed dietary restrictions. I am a vegitarian, and have been for over half of my life now...and not a crazy vegan one either, just a simple ova-lactose one. However, there is one sneaky substance that can apparently even find it's way into even my favorite cereal without me suspecting a thing. I mean, it's cereal....grains and sugar....so you wouldn't suspect a plot to be brewing in the happy boxes and bags, but there it was cheating me into ingesting an animal product for who knows how long. This sneaky substance is gelatin, a protein extracted from animal bones and hooves, and the sheer number of foods that it can be used in is really amazing, if you don't mind eating it. I don't understand why they would put it in my cereal though, if it doesn't mean that they're just out to get me.
