Well, I've had a pretty awesome week. I got Netflix AND cable AND a laptop (thanks Dad!) in the past like four days! It's early Xmas! I've been in a total tv trance every minute I'm not at work. It's fantabulous!

And I had a very, very memorable Turkey Day. Because you know what I was given? Oh...just a beautiful ring.

Thank you, thank you! I'm pretty stoked about it...more so than I'd thought I would be, even! We'll probably be married sometime in Feb. b/c my dad will be in town then. We're gonna skip the wedding part of it - go straight to the Justice of the Peace - and use the money we saved to buy more booze and food for the righteous reception! Which, by the way, everyone is invited! Nancy, Jeff, Julie, and everyone else in my actual vicinity, you guys will be getting an actual invite in the mail if you'll just get your addresses to me (PM). And, if anyone has any suggestions on where to have the reception, lemme know. We have some ideas, but everything is still WAY up in the air right now.. I guess we should start seriously thinking about it sooner rather than later.

Unless I've shipped off for bootcamp I'll be there!! I think that's great ya'll are finally tying the knot.

Well, we still haven't really planned much of anything. I think that we're pretty close to settling on the American Legion Hall (with the tank - 'cause Kane really wants tank pictures ^^) for the reception. But, of course we'll be letting everyone know for sure when we decide. And, remember, if you guys will PM me your addresses, I'll send ya an actual invite when we get them made.

I heard about you joining up for the army, Jeff! I wasn't sure if you'd definately decided on that or not. We've been talking to Joey via Skype. It's pretty cool! It's almost like he's here hanging out with us. ^__^

Ah that is cool, I have done at least one wedding that I remember at the ALH. And I know you are just planning the reception for there but that is still cool. Its a pretty nice space. I'll PM you my address so you will have it! ^_^

As for you Jeff, I thought you were kidding about the bootcamp comment!! You are seriously joining the army??

D'oh!! Did I just totally put my foot in my mouth?

Yea, I'm really considering it. I got a stress fracture in my foot from all the running I've been doing to get ready for boot camp though. So it's set me back a little bit. I have dropped 30 lbs since I've started though. I may not be able to get in now, but only time will tell. I just need to do something drastic to make good money and get away from my current situation, which is very strange and somewhat depressing during this holiday season. Either way, I'm gonna do my very best to be at the wedding.

Well, you just keep me up to date, man. I'd like to be able to have some hang time with ya before you go. We got to chat up Joey a bit before he shipped out. It was almost surreal to see him prepped and about to head over seas. I was proud of him and envious of the fact that he's doing something more than nothing and sad to not be able to hug his neck... all at the same time. =P
